2:57 Jon Brookhouse I am a lateral thinker...
Were the almonds on sale for $3.99 each or did you just fumble on the math? I can tell you knew you made that mistake, either by doing the math wrong or failing to explain that they were on sale. When you were talking about the chicken next, I could tell this was on your mind, as you started to fumble your words and use the word like more.

Just FYI you can get organic chia seeds (huge container) from walmart for the same price you paid for that little bag from trader joe's. Walmart has been getting more organic items lately for good prices. Still no grassfed beef though... don't buy meat from walmart.

*Sugar is not bad.* Sucrose, fructose and glucose are nutritionally identical, and the body converts all carbohydrates into sugar. Fruits and greens are useless to the body unless it can convert them to sugars. Keep in mind, the sugar the body converts them to is identical to your white table sugar. Yes, fruits and greens contain good nutrients that the body needs, but if you add white sugar to your meals, you're not adding a new ingredient as far as your body is concerned. If you were to remove some food, then add some white sugar to an otherwise nutritious meal, it would be like relieving your body of the work of converting some that food into sugar. Fruits are basically fuel/sugar bombs, this is why some people can live healthy on a pure fruit diet.
The hysteria surrounding refined sugars is due to the fact that most americans are not using the fuel they ingest, or are not getting nutrients along with that refined sugar. If you're extremely lazy and digest too much fuel without being active, the fuel (sugar) is stored by the body as fat for later use. If you're active, the body will burn through the sugar and you won't have a problem. Sugar is always bad for your teeth, whether eaten as fruits, greens, or other carbohydrates. Fruit is worse for your teeth than pure sugar, because of the acidity tears down your enamel, and the bacteria eating at your teeth run on sugar, just as you do. Finally, our bodies can't actually absorb fats - it just comes out the other side - but it's great for the digestive tract, so you should eat a little every day.

You are fantasizing about your past, Singh. You're descended from peasants and hut-dwellers, at best. My race, the white race, has touched the moon, flown into space, invented the light bulb, every home appliance, the airplane, electricity, modern science and everything your life revolves around.
My white ancestors would be ashamed to talk to a tiny chinaman, and to be honest I don't know why I'm giving you the honor. We are the master race, from babylon to ancient egypt. Check out the excavations done in China, where they found blue-eyed bodies buried where the spark of chinese civilization began. They've proven that advanced european tribes taught the chinese how to grow rice in sloped hills. Also check out the evidence for white people basically being the spark of every civilization in history. The evidence for this is overwhelming.
You shitskins don't have the creativity or desire to explore space and become interstellar. That is our destiny - the destiny of the white man. We will leave you here to continue your stilted maintenence of white inventions.

The hysteria comes from OVERCONSUMPTION! and btw.. sucrose fructose and glucose are not nutritionally identical, and the body only converts fructose and sucrose to glucose. Even if you're burning the sugars you consume, overconsumption still cause insulin spike and elevated blood glucose which causes glycation (look it up), and limits the bodies ability to reach into fat stores for energy needs. Couple that with the fact that the liver metabolizes fructose into fat faster than other sugars, while simultaneously suppressing leptin (the satiety hormone), you have right there a number of reasons to avoid it. While I agree with you that for an athlete this is less of a problem but still present. The problem is that sugar (especially fructose because it is the sweetest type of sugar) is so addicting especially high-fructose corn syrup, that finding a healthy balance is next to impossible for most people. So for the general population it is best recommended to avoid it altogether.

    • Doug Perkins

You're joking right? It has everything to do with diet! Even simple things like cutting out gluten can have a huge impact on a persons mood, if they are gluten sensitive and a lot of people are. Low levels of omega-3 are linked to depression as well as gut-disorders such as dysbiosis.. in case you are uninformed (as you are) the gut is considered by experts to be our body's "second brain", it has billions of neurons and produces 80 percent of your serotonin.. it doesn't have "somewhat of an effect" it regulates everything!
